One car and one driver, yours from the moment you step out of the door till the final drop. Guides wait at every big monument. Nobody rushes you. Nobody puts strangers in your back seat. 4 Days Golden Triangle Tour Itinerary

Have breakfast, check out by 9 am, and start with New Delhi. You will see Qutub Minar and Humayun's Tomb (both UNESCO World Heritage Sites), Lotus Temple and India Gate, and pass by Parliament House on the way.

Lunch is next, and then you move to the older part of the city. Visit Jama Masjid, ride a cycle rickshaw down Chandni Chowk, and walk through the Spice Market. The Red Fort is a photo stop from the outside.

When the day's sightseeing ends, you drive to Agra, which takes around 3 hours. Check in at the hotel and relax for the evening.

Wake up early and reach the Taj Mahal for sunrise. The white marble slowly changes colour as the light improves, and many visitors feel it looks better in person than in any picture.

Go back to the hotel for breakfast and checkout, then visit Agra Fort, the old residence of the Mughal rulers. After that, you hit the road to Jaipur. On the way, you stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the red sandstone city that Emperor Akbar built. You reach Jaipur by evening, check in, and stay the night.

Breakfast is at 8 am or a little later, and then the Jaipur tour starts. Places covered are Amber Fort, Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Patrika Gate. In the evening you go back to the hotel and stay the night in Jaipur.

After breakfast and checkout, the drive back to Delhi starts at a time that suits your flight, and you are dropped at the airport.

Note: If you prefer to finish the trip in Jaipur and skip the return to Delhi, we can arrange that as well.

4 Days Golden Triangle Tour Cost

Honestly, the Delhi Agra Jaipur tour costs somewhere between ₹14,500 and ₹18,500 per head. A bigger group or shared rooms bring it down. Tolls, parking, petrol, and the driver's allowance are already at that price, so you won't get any surprise charges at the end.

Food and Shopping on a 4 Day Golden Triangle Tour

Eating and shopping are a big part of the Golden Triangle experience, and Delhi, Agra and Jaipur each offer their own flavour. Whether you want a quick snack or a proper sit-down meal, there is something for every budget.

Delhi: The capital has everything from simple local eateries to upscale restaurants serving cuisines from around the world. For bargain shopping, head to Sarojini Nagar and Lajpat Nagar, two popular markets for trendy clothes, accessories and daily-use items at pocket-friendly prices.

Dining on the road: Global fast-food brands like McDonald's, Subway and KFC can be found in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur if you want familiar food. Many travellers, though, prefer stopping at highway dhabas for an authentic taste of India. These roadside restaurants often run round the clock and serve hot, freshly made dishes at low prices.

Shopping highlights: You can shop at both modern malls and old-style bazaars along the route. Jaipur is the place for gemstones, jewellery and handicrafts, while Agra is known for leather products and beautifully inlaid marble items.

Smart shopping tip: When buying antiques or traditional crafts, choose government-approved or registered stores so you avoid fake products and tourist scams.

Quick lunch suggestions (short):

  • Delhi: Chole bhature or paratha at a local eatery near Chandni Chowk.
  • Agra: Thali with dal, paneer and fresh rotis, followed by petha as a sweet.
  • Jaipur: Dal baati churma or a Rajasthani thali.

Best Time to Visit Delhi, Agra, Jaipur

October to March

That's the best time to visit Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, no question. Days stay dry, mornings are chilly, and you can walk around forts without melting. Fog shows up in December and January, though. Cars crawl on the highway then, so the Agra to Jaipur road trip duration goes up by an hour or so.

April to June

Heat hits hard. Take a cap, sunscreen, and water. Get out early, finish sightseeing before noon, and rest in the hotel after.

July to September

Not all day, just heavy bursts. Fields look green, and ticket lines are tiny. The Taj Mahal sunrise guided entry is almost empty in these months, so photos come out clean.

“We had a fantastic experience with our tour guide and driver in Jaipur ! Both were incredibly professional, friendly, and made our trip truly unforgettable. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared so many fascinating stories and insights about the places we visited. He made the history come alive and tailored the tour to our interests. Our driver was excellent as well — always on time, very polite, and made sure we were comfortable and safe throughout the journey. The vehicle was clean and very comfortable, which made a big difference during the day. Thanks to both of them, we discovered places we would have never found on our own. Everything was perfectly organized and stress-free. We highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a high-quality, personalized tour experience!”

“Planning the trip with Mr. Singh took almost 3 months, which included a trip from New Delhi to Agra from there to Jaipur to Varanasi to Mumbai. Mr. Singh took care of booking 3 domestic flights, choosing the hotels and accompanied us himself almost throughout the trip with an attached car including his lovely son Vishay. Lots of museums, temples, markets, restaurants in short, India at its best. I feel obliged to also mention the guide in Jaipur Babu. - Thank you on behalf of myself and my wife, my brother-in-law and my sister-in-law.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Delhi to Agra goes on the Yamuna Expressway. That's roughly 230 km. From Agra, the car takes the national highway toward Jaipur via Bharatpur, with the Fatehpur Sikri stop on the way. About 240 km. The last day is Jaipur back to Delhi on the main Delhi–Jaipur highway, close to 270 km. Roads are in good shape. Every toll is already paid in your package, so the driver never asks you for money at a gate.

No tickets are included in the price. You pay at each monument, either at the counter or online. That's how we keep the base fare low, and it also means you can skip a place you don't care about. The guide is a different story. Local guide service at the main sites is already covered. If a monument charges extra for a camera, that one you pay yourself.

The Agra to Jaipur road trip duration is about five hours of driving. But you will also stop at Fatehpur Sikri and eat lunch. So the whole day on the road is more like seven or eight hours. Heavy traffic or fog can add some more. You still get to Jaipur by evening.

Yes. Veg breakfast is easy because almost every hotel serves it. For Jain food, tell us before the trip. No onion, no garlic, no potato or other root vegetables. We tell each hotel kitchen. For lunch and dinner, your driver can take you to veg restaurants on the way.

Your guide or driver will take you to the ticket counter at every place. For the Taj Mahal, you can buy online from the official ASI site or at the gate. Don't buy from people on the street. Indians and foreigners pay different prices, so keep your ID with you. Keep the ticket till you leave.

Fog mostly hits in winter, and the Yamuna Expressway is the worst spot. The good thing is, you're already sleeping in Agra before the Taj morning. So a foggy road can only mess with Day 1. If your car runs late, the guide just waits. If the morning looks hazy, you go in a bit later. Ticket's valid all day. Oh, and no Taj on Fridays.

Yep, both. Drivers can talk in English well enough for directions and a bit of chat. Guides at the big monuments speak it better, and if you need French or German or something else, say so when you book. Every car has GPS, so our office sees it live. You'll get your driver's WhatsApp number before you land.

Sure, just tell us early. Got a small kid? We'll fit a booster seat. Travelling with parents or grandparents? We pick a car that's easy to step into, keep the walking slow, and arrange a wheelchair at the big forts. Put it in your booking note, and that's it.

All three roads go past big towns that have proper hospitals. Your driver knows which ones are closest, and he's got the highway ambulance number saved in his phone. Keep your own medicines in your day bag, not in the boot. Any health issues? Tell your guide on Day 1, and we'll plan the stops around it.
