14 Nights 15 Days Uttarakhand Tour Itinerary

Our representative meets you at Delhi airport or station and takes you to Rishikesh by road. The drive is about five to six hours. Check in at your riverside camp or hotel and rest a little. If you reach early enough, try a rafting stretch on the Ganga, or add rock climbing, rappelling, or kayaking. In the evening, walk to Laxman Jhula and sit by the river for the Ganga Aarti. Dinner and overnight stay in Rishikesh.

After breakfast, drive up to Mussoorie, the Queen of the Hills. Check in and have a slow afternoon. Then visit Gun Hill, Lake Mist, Kempty Falls, and the old Christ Church. Walk along Camel's Back Road as the sun goes down. Dinner and overnight stay in Mussoorie.

Today is the longest drive of the trip. Leave early and follow the road through the Garhwal hills, with Himalayan views opening up along the way. Reach Auli by evening, check in, and relax. If the sky is clear, watch the last light fall on Nanda Devi. Night stay in Auli.

After breakfast, head to Gurso Bugyal, an open alpine meadow, and Chattrakund, a small clear lake. In winter, try your first steps on skis on the beginner slope. After lunch, join a guided walk toward Lake Valentine through the pine forest of Helen Valley. Overnight stay in Auli.

Drive down to Joshimath and see Narsimha Temple, Shankaracharya Cave, Tapovan Temple, and the hot sulphur springs. In season, you can plan an optional trek toward the Valley of Flowers. This needs extra time, so tell us early. Return to Auli for the night.

After breakfast, leave for Kausani, often called the Mini Switzerland of India. Check in and see Anashakti Ashram, Laxmi Ashram, the Sumitranandan Pant Gallery, and the Kausani tea estate. The evening view of the snow peaks is the main attraction. Night stay in Kausani.

Drive to Binsar in the morning and check in. Go to Binsar Zero Point for a full panorama of the Himalayas, and visit the Baneshwar Shiva Temple. Walk through Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary, home to over 200 bird species and animals like foxes, leopards, and Himalayan bears. Night stay in Binsar.

Today you drive to Munsiyari, a remote town known as Little Kashmir. Check in and rest. Spend the rest of the day around Madkot, Birthi Falls and Narayan Ashram. If time allows, drive toward Dharchula. Night stay in Munsiyari.

After breakfast, drive to Patal Bhuwaneshwar, a cave temple set at about 1,350 metres. Inside, narrow, lit tunnels lead past limestone shapes that look like figures. Locals link each shape to old stories. Dinner and overnight stay nearby.

Drive to Mukteshwar, home to an old Shiva shrine surrounded by smaller idols. On the way, stop in Almora and try its famous bal mithai. Check in, visit the temple for darshan, and enjoy dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Mukteshwar.

After breakfast, drive toward Bhimtal. Stop at Ghorakhal to see the well-known army school and then at Naukuchiatal. Reach Bhimtal, check in, and take the afternoon at your own pace. Go to Bhimtal Lake in the evening for a walk. Night stay in Bhimtal.

Drive a short distance to Sattal, a cluster of calm lakes. A short half-kilometre walk leads to a jungle camp on a wide natural clearing. After lunch, enjoy cricket, rappelling or a nature walk. End the day with a bonfire, music and dinner. Stay overnight at the camp.

After breakfast, drive to Nainital and check in. Visit Khurpatal Lake, a waterfall, Hanuman Mandir, and the observatory. Take the cable car up to Tiffin Top and go boating on Naini Lake. Spend the evening on Mall Road. Night stay in Nainital.

Drive to Jim Corbett National Park and check in. Then head into the forest for a jeep safari. You may spot tigers, leopards, elephants, deer, and a lot of birds. Back at the hotel, sit around the evening bonfire and have dinner. Overnight stay at Jim Corbett.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Delhi, about six to seven hours. The driver drops you at the airport, railway station, or your hotel. That ends your 14 nights, 15 days Uttarakhand tour.

Safari timings, rafting stretches, and snow conditions depend on the season and the local authorities. We will tell you what is possible for your dates.

  • The Adventure Plan. Rafting, climbing and kayaking in Rishikesh, skiing and trekking around Auli, and camping at Sattal. Good for friends and active couples.
  • The Relaxed Family Plan. Shorter walks, slower mornings, and easy-access rooms. The same route, but with extra rest time between long drives.
  • All three use the same route, car, and hotel standard. Only the activities and pace change.

How the Day Works

One vehicle and one driver stay with you from the first pickup to the last drop. He knows the hill roads, the safe stopping points, and the weather patterns. You do not change cars at any point. Check-in and check-out times are planned around the drives, and hotels are told your arrival time in advance. If you only need the car, our Uttarakhand taxi service runs on the same setup. We assign a sedan, SUV, or tempo traveller based on your group size.

How to Reach Delhi for the Tour

By Air

Flights land at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Your driver waits outside arrivals with a name board. Share your flight number at booking.

By Train

Trains arrive at New Delhi, Old Delhi, or Nizamuddin station. Tell us the station and coach, and the driver will message you the exact meeting point.

By Road

Coming from Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, or Rajasthan? Buses arrive at Kashmere Gate, Anand Vihar, or Sarai Kale Khan. Pick any point, and the driver will find you.

You can also begin the tour directly at Haridwar or Rishikesh, and we can adjust the plan and price.

Best Time to Visit Uttarakhand

October to November

Clear skies and sharp mountain views. One of the best periods for photography and walks. Evenings get cold.

March to June

Pleasant in the hills and warm in the plains. Good for sightseeing, lakes, and nature walks. Corbett is hot, but sightings are often strong. Book hotels early for May and June.

July to September

The hills are green, but landslides and road closures can disrupt the plan. Rafting pauses, and some Corbett zones have limits. Travel only with flexible dates.

December to February

Cold, with snow around Auli and higher spots. January to March is the main skiing window. Carry heavy woollens, and expect fog on some roads.

Need to Know Before You Travel

  • Carry your original government photo ID. Hotels, permits, and Corbett entry all need it.
  • Pack layers. Nights in the hills are cold even in summer.
  • Bring a rain jacket, sturdy shoes, sunscreen, and a power bank.
  • Day 3 (Mussoorie to Auli) is the longest drive. Start early and carry motion-sickness tablets if needed.
  • Mobile networks can be weak in Binsar, Munsiyari and Auli. Download maps and tickets before you leave.
  • Keep basic medicines with you. Pharmacies are far apart in remote stretches.
  • Keep some cash. ATMs are rare in small hill towns.
  • Landslides can change a day's plan. Your driver and our team will adjust the route.

Why Choose Our Uttarakhand Tour Package?

  • We read what other operators offer before writing this plan. Reviews repeat the same problems. Last-minute price changes. Cold, damp rooms. Drivers who do not know the mountain roads. Plans that squeeze too much into one day. We built this package to avoid that.
  • Clear costs. The quote lists the vehicle, fuel, tolls, stays, and meals. The exclusions are few and easy to read.
  • Hotels checked before booking. Each property is verified for clean rooms, hot water, and safe stays. Tell us if you travel with kids or elders, and we ask for ground-floor rooms.
  • Drivers who know the hills. Our drivers have done these routes many times. They know the weather, the fuel stops, and the slow stretches.
  • A route that makes sense. The loop avoids backtracking, and the longest drives are split with rest stops.
  • Flexible planning. If a road closes or the weather changes, we reshuffle the days without charging you extra for the change in order.
  • Support on the road. If someone feels unwell or a plan changes, call or message the team. A real person replies.

“We had a fantastic experience with our tour guide and driver in Jaipur ! Both were incredibly professional, friendly, and made our trip truly unforgettable. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared so many fascinating stories and insights about the places we visited. He made the history come alive and tailored the tour to our interests. Our driver was excellent as well — always on time, very polite, and made sure we were comfortable and safe throughout the journey. The vehicle was clean and very comfortable, which made a big difference during the day. Thanks to both of them, we discovered places we would have never found on our own. Everything was perfectly organized and stress-free. We highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a high-quality, personalized tour experience!”

“Planning the trip with Mr. Singh took almost 3 months, which included a trip from New Delhi to Agra from there to Jaipur to Varanasi to Mumbai. Mr. Singh took care of booking 3 domestic flights, choosing the hotels and accompanied us himself almost throughout the trip with an attached car including his lovely son Vishay. Lots of museums, temples, markets, restaurants in short, India at its best. I feel obliged to also mention the guide in Jaipur Babu. - Thank you on behalf of myself and my wife, my brother-in-law and my sister-in-law.”
